Man pleads guilty, saying "I smoke weed"
A Douglas man doing community service for possessing cannabis was caught with it twice more after neighbours smelled the drug and called police.
Anthony Wiseman of Church Road Marina appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis at his home on 28 May and 6 June and at police headquarters on 29 June.
Prosecution advocate Roger Kane told the hearing officers went to speak to Wiseman on 28 May following a complaint from neighbours.
Wiseman, who was 'obviously stoned', told police he'd had a joint and £12 worth of the class B drug was found in his flat.
On 6 June, officers found £31-worth after neighbours called them again – when he was charged Wiseman simply told them "I smoke weed."
He was arrested again on 29 June, when he had a tiny amount of the drug inside a tobacco pouch.
He was granted bail in the sum of £500.
