Canada Life gives extra time off for employees
Canada Life has unveiled a new staff benefit believed to be the first of its kind on the Isle of Man offering extra paid leave under a scheme called “Being There.”
Launching in 2026, the initiative gives employees time off for life’s milestone moments that matter most to them.
It will include things like weddings and graduations, a child’s first day at school or welcoming a new grandchild.
The move follows a major boost to family-friendly policies in 2025, when the assurance firm increased maternity leave to 26 weeks, and paternity and partner leave to 16 weeks.
