
Its been claimed that help being given to farmers is coming with too many strings attached.
The Agricultural Benevolent Trust has been collecting donations from the Manx community with the aim of assisting those farmers described as "genuine hardship cases".
Peel Commissioner Ian Davidson says he has been getting complaints about the methods being used.
However, Graham Crowe of the Benevolent Trust says it's still a question of "wait and see" as to the final outcome but all donations are being carefully used.
