Professor delivers talk at Manx Wildlife Trust's AGM
We should be seriously concerned about a widescale drop in insect numbers.
So says Professor of Evolutionary Behaviour and Environment at the University of Sussex, Dave Goulson.
Professor Goulson has been on the Island addressing the Manx Wildlife Trust's AGM.
He's coined the term "insectigeddon" to describe the massive drop in insect numbers being seen and says some recent research from Germany provided some alarming figures:
