Celtic League's Moffatt writes to chief minister
A well-known campaigner and former union leader on the Island says he's concerned that emergency services have been at full stretch in recent days.
Bernard Moffatt has written to the chief minister in a personal capacity to express his concern.
In his letter Mr Moffatt praises Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson for alerting the public to the pressure on the health service experienced at the weekend, even if management at Noble's quickly issued a brief statement to say that there was not an overall shortage of beds at the hospital:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
Too early for 'direct action' over cost-of-living concerns says chief minister
