
Medical society shares thoughts on future of private healthcare provision
Some medical professionals on the Island have shared further concerns over the potential impact of a new private medical facility on the Island.
It follows the submitting of a planning application to transform former offices near Victoria Road in Douglas into a 15-bed hospital.

Manx Care says it welcomes any initiative that enhances choice and availability of private healthcare provision on the Island.
Meanwhile, the opening of the Private Patient Unit at Noble's - closed since 2019 - is said to be 'upcoming'.
