Naturalist says this indicates a drop in other species
The Island's butterfly population is suffering a steady decline in numbers, according to local naturalist Gary Curtiss.
He was prompted by a new report revealing sightings of two thirds of British species have dropped since 2018.
Twenty species have been recorded on the Isle of Man, of the 60 found in the UK.
Mr Curtiss says the decline is a worrying indicator for other species too: (play audio)
