Registration fee doubles
The rising cost of homestay could deter people from providing the service to visitors during TT and the Festival of Motorcycling.
That's the worry aired by one MHK, after the Economic Development minister's justification in the House of Keys yesterday (Tue) failed to quell concerns.
Douglas North MHK, David Ashford says there'll be inevitable consequences to the increase - which sees the annual registration fee hike from £25 to £50.
Newly appointed operator, MiQuando, pitched the initial idea, which was agreed this month - Mr Ashford doesn't believe it's a well-educated move.
