Electronic format could save money
It could be more than five years before the Isle of Man Constabulary operates a digital filing system, according to Gary Roberts.
The Chief Constable admitted a paper system was still in place when he went before a Tynwald committee earlier this week.
He suggested moving to an electronic format would improve access to important documents and act as a cost-saving measure.
But he wouldn't be drawn on saying when such a system would be implemented:

Additional road closure for TT filming ahead of MGP qualifying
'Knives and sharp implements' left outside charity shops
Manx Radio to 'formally investigate' complaint from veteran broadcaster
Temporary ambulance station established at Castletown Coastguard Station
