Rising fuel prices and skills shortage among challenges for Island's builders
A perfect storm of soaring fuel and materials costs alongside a serious skills shortage is brewing in the Island's construction sector.
That's the warning from Derek Clarkson, head of the industry body Construction Isle of Man.
He fears the turbulent last month has put pressure on companies in the building industry.
He says the ongoing fall-out from Donald Trump's war with Iran is causing serious problems across the board:
