Material prices rise by up to 130%
Acute shortages of materials and labour, coupled with soaring costs, continues to affect the local construction sector.
Construction Isle of Man, the industry's representative body, says the situation has worsened in recent weeks.
Bulk materials have risen in price by between between 70 and 130 per cent since the start of the year.
