MHK admits clear divergence of views
An MHK says he is encouraged by proposed reforms to the Island's work permit regime. They’ll be put to Tynwald this week following a public consultation over plans which government says will benefit both the employer and the employee. The Economic Development Minister invited responses from individuals and representative bodies. Middle member Bill Shimmins believes the proposals offer a constructive and thoughtful response to a thorny issue.
