Mr Duffy says former whistleblowing ordeal in UK was 'extremely traumatic’
A consultant urologist says he’s ‘very reluctantly’ left his post due to the impact of an ‘extremely traumatic’ whistleblowing ordeal.
Peter Duffy has clarified the reasons behind his unexpected departure from Manx Care saying he enjoyed his time with the health body and has no issues with quality of care at Noble’s Hospital.
He’s told Manx Radio he’s left due to ongoing repercussions from an incident involving his former employers at the Morecambe Bay Trust which at one point left him suicidal.
But despite the personal cost he says he doesn’t regret shining a light on something that he felt was wrong:
