But Thomas admits changes will take time
External consultation around increasing access to the First Time Buyers' scheme will be 'absolutely vital'.
But chair of the new Housing and Community Board Chris Thomas admits changing things will take 'a little time':
In August the Department of Infrastructure said it was developing its shared equity purchase assistance schemes in line with a Tynwald resolution.
Recommendations included increasing annual income limits, and the maximum purchase price, and adjusting interest rates and payment terms for equity loan assistance.
At the time the department said it hoped changes to the schemes would be introduced in spring next year.
