Crops struggling in prolonged dry spell
The dry, hot weather could have an impact on the availability of local produce in the months to come.
With irrigation on Manx farms limited, the prolonged spell of warm weather is taking it's toll on the Island's crops.
And that could be something that consumers notice on local supermarket shelves, and at farmers markets.
Vegetable grower Stuart Allanson says, although it's not a situation that's unique to the Island, it will be noticeable.
