Cops in ferry cycle challenge

Force attempts to beat the boat

Officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary will be attempting to cross the Irish Sea by bicycle this morning.

A team of student officers is racing against the Manannan when it sets sail from Liverpool at 11.15am.

They're hoping to cover the equivalent 80-mile crossing on a static bike before the ferry docks in Douglas.

It's all in aid of Give A Gift and the Youth Trust.

You can turn up to support the recruits at the Sea Terminal between 11am-3pm.
