Treasury minister to make statement
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan is to bring forward measures regarding sick pay in light of the Coronavirus threat at next week's sitting of Tynwald.
Mr Cannan wrote to the President early this week revealing £7 million of contingency funding is available to immediately support health and frontline services.
There are currently no cases of COVID-19 on the Island according to figures published by Public Health Isle of Man yesterday afternoon.
25 tests have been carried out which have all been negative - an update on the situation will be released later today.
Mr Cannan says government is treating the current situation very seriously:-
