The registration fee for Homestay during this year's TT and Festival of Motorcycling will see a 60% rise.
The increase comes following the outsourcing of the scheme to Regency Travel.
Last year the Department of Economic Development oversaw the registration of over 700 properties for the individual fee of £15.
This is set to rise to £25 this year, but property owners do not pay tax on any money they make.
