The treasury minister will be part of the panel

The chairman of Liberal Vannin is calling on government to consider bringing the minimum wage rise in earlier.

It's expected to come into effect in April next year.

However, Paul Weatherall believes, if implemented, it would help people with the cost-of-living crisis:

The party is holding a public meeting at the Manx Legion from 19.00 today (24 October).

Treasury Minister, Dr Alex Allinson is part of the panel that will be present to listen to people's concerns.
