DoI minister praises staff for 'necessary fix'
The cost of resurfacing Douglas Promenade now stands at £118,000.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer has praised staff (20 June) for their work over the past six months, revealing a breakdown of around £92,000 for materials, plus £26,000 in labour costs.
The work was completed in several phases between November 2016 and May 2017.
Mr Harmer described the work as a 'temporary, but necessary' fix, while full regeneration plans for the promenade are finalised.
