Shanties galore as sea-farers share stories
An evening of sea shanties and sailors' tales is taking place in Port Erin tonight (6 Oct).
Story of the Sea has been organised by Rushen Heritage Trust, and features a host of distinguished Manx sea-farers, while a martime choir will also perform.
The event's open to all with tickets available at the door.
Professor Hugh Davidson from the Trust says it's the group's final event of the year - and they have three wonderful speakers:

Southern 100 sidecar exclusion 'absolutely devastating'
Vicar: "Everybody goes through compromise when it comes to the races"
TT fan park closed after 'deterioration in ground conditions'
No racing to take place today
'We need to keep the spirit of the TT alive' says fan
