MHK disappointed by amount allocated for PROW upkeep in latest Budget
It's been suggested that the Island's footpaths and public rights of way should be graded by their difficulty - like ski slopes.
Douglas South MHK Sarah Maltby is pressing for more money to be spent on the upkeep and maintenance of our countryside routes.
She was left disappointed by the Budget's provisions in that regard, and a recent article in a UK walking magazine noted a 'deficiency' of signposts.
