Nominations for a by-election open next week
A by-election is going to be held in Onchan for one new commissioner.
Residents wanting to put themselves forward have from 10am on 9 October to 1pm on 16 October to submit their nomination papers.
It was sparked by the resignation of the now former Commissioner Fenella Logan who wanted to spend free time with her family.
If more than two people come forward, an election will take place on 14 November.
Nomination papers and forms can be found on the government website or the commissioner's website.
Applications for postal votes from the Isle of Man need to be in by the 6 November, and those from the UK are asked to be in no later than the 31 October.
A proxy vote application must be applied for by the 13 November.
