
An Island woman is taking part in a global charity initiative to live off £1 a day.
Nicola Tooms is taking part in the Live Below the Line Campaign which aims to raise awareness for people living in extreme poverty.
For a working week she'll have £1 a day to spend on food.
1.4 billion people worldwide currently have the same amount to meet their daily needs.
