Slogans include 'there's no such thing as the dog poo fairy'
Posters with slogans such as 'there's no such thing as the dog poo fairy' and 'no butts, stub it, bin it' could soon be adorning walls and street lamps in Douglas.
The Town Council has agreed to an environmental poster campaign, aimed at clamping down on dog fouling, cigarette waste and general litter.
Last month (Sep 17), the Environmental Service Committee, chaired by Councillor McNicholl, considered a number of possible designs as part of its drive to tackle environmental issues.
Members mulled over eight potential posters, discussing their impact and whether they might be considered offensive.
The committee approved the use of four posters as part of its campaign, one of which feature a photo of a large rat.
