Victoria ward goes to the polls
Douglas Council will have a full complement again by the end of this evening.
A by-election’s being held for the vacancy in Victoria Ward.
Former borough engineer and musical director Ian Clague, administrator Natalie Byron, retired engineer James Crellin, taxi driver Derek Lavery and mental health advocate Michelle O’Connor are vying for the seat.
Polling stations at Douglas Town Hall, the Villa Marina Promenade Suite and the Mike Hailwood Centre are open from 8am until 8pm.
