The position is held for a year
Douglas Council has selected Natalie Byron as the new Mayor.
She will not hold the position officially until 10 May, when the council will vote either for or against her.
Councillor Byron was voted in, in the 2016 by-election and was re-elected in 2021.
Miss Byron is currently the Deputy Mayor of the city.
