Douglas market hall is to be given a new lease of life, in a major smartening-up of the interior and with new tenants.
Douglas Council is planning to spend around £33,000 decorating the landmark building on North Quay, home to a dwindling number of market traders.
The council's currently in talks with Isle of Man College, to relocate part of the art department inside the hall.
The refurb project goes before the full council today (Wednesday).
