Plea changed to guilty
A Douglas councillor who denied a drink driving charge has now pleaded guilty.
Catherine Turner of Westminster Terrace changed her plea when she appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 51 year old now admits being drunk behind the wheel on 7 November last year.
She had already admitted being three times over the limit in a vehicle on Derby Square on 29 December.
The case has been adjourned for a social enquiry report to be prepared and Turner has been bailed to appear in court again on 13 April.
