Plans to put land out to tender for five-year lease
Douglas council has given its biggest hint yet that Bushy's will have use of the Bottleneck Car Park during TT until 2020.
The firm has leased the space for the last two decades but plans have been announced to tender the land for the next five years.
Councillor Stephen Pitts claimed the first time he was involved in the tendering process was when contacted by Manx Radio yesterday.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, he said Bushy's Beer Tent had become a big part of the festival:
