Event returns after four-year break
Manx residents from all cultures should be celebrated at Douglas Carnival.
That's from Douglas Councillor Andrew Bentley as the event prepares for its return after a four-year absence.
Events gets underway in the Island's capital from 1pm tomorrow, with the main parade taking place on Loch Promenade from 4pm.
Douglas Borough Council says the event will go ahead whatever the weather, but some timings may be changed depending on the conditions.
Mr Bentley wants to draw influence from other carnivals in the future:
