Wallaby watching and rockpooling will be among the items featured as the Island takes centre stage on BBC television this evening (Sunday).
Countryfile, presented by Adam Henson, will also focus on the Ramsey Grammar School farm, the Manx Loaghtan and naturalist Edward Forbes.
The team was guided on its visit by Fiona Gell from the environment department, marine biologist Professor Trevor Norton and Manx Wildlife Trust director Duncan Bridges.
The programme will be broadcast on BBC1 at 7pm.
