Pair from Douglas remanded in custody
Magistrates have remanded a Douglas couple in custody over charges they shoplifted hundreds of pounds worth of goods.
Thirty-one-year-old Karl Allen Cameron of Keppel Road and 34-year-old Tara Lee Ashlyn Cowell of Cronk-y-Berry appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
They haven’t yet entered pleas to charges of stealing perfume and home goods worth around £1,500 from Boots and Marks & Spencer on 8 February.
Magistrates remanded the pair in custody, and they’ll next appear on 2 March.
