Directions hearing to take place at Douglas courthouse this morning
Details about an appeal seeking to block calls for an advocate to give evidence to an employment tribunal will be heard in the high court this morning (20 September).
The Department of Health and Social Care wants to stop Anna Heeley from the Attorney General's Chambers being asked about the disclosure of documents during the Dr Rosalind Ranson tribunal.
The department's legal team says this would force Miss Heeley to break legal privilege.
The DHSC was found to have unfairly dismissed the former medical director after she raised concerns about its approach to managing Covid-19 on the Island.
The directions hearing takes place at Douglas Courthouse at 11.30am.
