EAG informed of decision in March
The body set up to advise government on its approach to Covid-19 has been disbanded.
The Council of Ministers decided to suspend the Emergency Advisory Group on 17 February - confirming the decision to the group on 1 March.
A Freedom of Information request submitted by Manx Radio showed CoMin also considered expanding the EAG's remit to cover other issues, but ultimately opted to place the group into abeyance.
The group advised government on issues including testing and mitigations in schools during the pandemic.
