Woodward calls for apology for 'selfless' staff
Lack of vaccine prioritisation for Steam Packet crew during the Covid-19 pandemic is 'somewhat baffling'.
That's the opinion of the operator's chief executive who's responded to the findings of a report surrounding an outbreak of the virus in February.
That investigation, carried out by Treasury’s audit division, was described as 'well executed and fair' by Mark Woodward who maintains the company should have been a priority.
He's called on government to apologise to his staff who he says have been 'ignored' by politicians despite 'selflessly' putting themselves in harms' way every day.
