A year on from the killings of Manx-educated police woman Fiona Bone and her colleague, Greater Manchester Police are making progress in their fight against organised crime.
Fiona and fellow officer Nicola Hughes were killed a year ago yesterday (Sept 18) when they were lured to a house in Hyde by Dale Cregan, now serving a whole life sentence.
Fiona's family travelled from the Island for a memorial service at Hyde police station, which included a minute's silence, with friends, colleagues and police officers from around Britain also gathering to pay respects.
