
Police have named the biker who died after a crash on Douglas Promenade yesterday afternoon.
51-year-old James McFarlane of Edinburgh was injured in an incident that involved his motorbike and three local cars on Central Promenade.
He died earlier today at Noble's Hospital from his injuries.
The incident happened shortly before 2pm yesterday.
The road shut for three hours as police carried out investigations.
