Helicopter damaged canal-side pub in County Longford, Ireland
A crash involving a helicopter owned by a Manx company has prompted the launch of an air accident investigation.
The helicopter clipped and damaged a canal-side pub in County Longford, Ireland, earlier this week as it attempted to land next to it.
Both the pilot and another man on board reportedly walked away with minor injuries.
Its registered owner, according to the UK Civil Aviation Authority, is Mannifest Live, which is listed with a Douglas address.
The pilot was arrested as he was about to fly to the Isle of Man in a plane on Thursday night, but was released the following morning.
The Irish government's Air Accident Investigation Unit is looking into the crash.
