Public warned not to be duped
Police say they've received a number of reports of a text scam doing the rounds.
It purports to be from the Isle of Man Bank and suggests your card has been de-activated.
If a link is followed, you will be asked for your full customer number, PIN and password.
The public is being reminded that Banks do not ask for those details and these scam texts should be ignored.
If in any doubt, contact your bank directly.
