Two men who are alleged to have helped the killer of Manx-educated policewoman Fiona Bone have been remanded in custody.
Jack Willbye, 57, and his son 28 year old Samuel Willbye of Herne Bay in Kent, are accused of conspiring to assist Dale Cregan.
Both are said to have helped Cregan in August and September last year when he was on the run from police following the murder of a father and son in Manchester.
Days later, Cregan killed Fiona and her colleague Nicola Hughes.
Manchester magistrates remanded the father and son in custody until September 25, when they’ll appear at Manchester Crown Court.
