
The infrastructure minister has hinted new proposals may soon take the place of the failed Douglas Corporation plans for Cambrian Place in Douglas.
Council Leader David Christian recently revealed the local authority's scheme for a car park, offices and a new library on the site next to Lord Street had fallen through.
Minister David Cretney says he regrets that, but is hinting the site might be back in the development spotlight before too long, and is pleased other work is happening in the area:
