The infrastructure minister says he is impressed with the way the Island came together to tackle yesterday's floods.
David Cretney says the DoI received more than 200 calls over the course of the evening, but help from the emergency services, civil defence and local authorities made the situation managable.
However he does feel drainage systems, particularly near fields and ditches, need to be reassessed.
Mr Cretney thinks a few factors contributed to yesterday's problems:
Contractors to start installing 20mph signs in Douglas and Onchan
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
£1 million National AI Office launched to coordinate artificial intelligence policy and adoption
Confusion over cause of issues for IOM residents selling on Vinted
