MLC questions desire for reform
Modernisation of the rates system on the Isle of Man will not happen under the current administration.
That's the view of David Cretney MLC.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas delivered a brief statement in Tynwald on Tuesday.
He was asked by David Cretney if the current system of rates will have been replaced by the next general election in 2021.
Mr Cretney believes he didn't get a positive answer.
