
Crews from Douglas, Laxey, Castletown and Ramsey fire stations dealt with over 20 calls for help from members of the public whose premises were flooded today.
The fire service says the largest number of requests for help came in the Ramsey area were many businesses and domestic properties were flooded.
During the period of flooding, Fire Service crews worked with other emergency services personnel, government departments and utility companies to help people in distress.
Crews were still pumping out commercial properties this evening in the hope they could re-open as soon as possible.
