Big Band play the Big Apple!
A thirty-strong Manx group are on their way to New York today (Fri 9), for a unique opportunity to showcase their musical talents.
Made up of 26 high school students and four members of staff, the Castle Rushen 'Big Band' will perform a wide repertoire of music from jazz to pop at three different venues.
Head of Music Gareth Deakin hopes experiences like this will inspire the next generation of musicians on-Island.
