Public works staff 'endeavour to do best'
Criticism of projects and workers at the Department of Infrastructure does affect morale - that's according to DOI construction manager Gary Saunders.
He says staff do an excellent job, despite being under the public spotlight, and endeavour to deliver works quickly and to the highest standard.
Mr Saunders explains works can't all be completed at the same site at once, as different skills are required at different times, and often there isn't enough space.
He told Manx Radio the aim is always to get the job done as soon as possible:
