IOM Shipping Association's concerns on Harbours Strategy
Plans for a deeper berth in Douglas to allow cruise liners to dock don't take into account dredging costs.
That's the belief of the Treasurer of the Isle of Man Shipping Association.
Russell Kent was speaking following Tynwald's approval of the 2018 Harbours Strategy.
Whilst the Association welcomed the document in recognising the major commercial port of the Island isn't future proof, Mr Kent said they had concerns on some of the specific measures it contains.
