Government insists borders remain shut to this type of visitor
The Manx government insists the Island's borders remain closed to cruise visitors, despite one company advertising a trip to the Isle of Man.
Hurtigruten, which brought a cruise ship to Douglas earlier this year, says passengers will be able to take part in a beach clean and tree planting during the September cruise.
The six-day trip is set to begin in Liverpool before coming to the Island, but the operator warns the itinerary could change due to coronavirus restrictions.
The government says there is no timescale on when borders will be open for visitors like this.
Manx Radio has contacted Hurtigruten for comment.
