Niew Statendam returning to Manx shores
More than 2,000 people are expected to arrive in Manx waters today.
The Nieuw Statendam cruise ship will spend the day in Douglas Bay.
The Holland America Line ship is believed to be carrying 2,666 passengers and 1,053 crew.
It’s expected to arrive at 8am and depart at 5pm.
When the ship visited in August last year questions were asked about why the horse trams were operating on a 'slightly reduced timetable'.
This meant passengers couldn't experience the tramway along Douglas Promenade.
Despite the complaints the horse trams haven't been timetabled to run on Mondays and Tuesdays in June for the next five weeks.
